What is a Postpartum Doula?

A postpartum doula offers non-medical support to new parents and their families. Their focus includes post-birth recovery, changing family dynamics, and newborn care. They provide informational, practical, emotional, and physical support.

As your postpartum doula I am committed to providing you with:

-

-
Listening and Honoring Your Birth Story: Your birth story is unique and deserves to be heard and honored. I provide a compassionate ear, assisting in processing your experience as you navigate this new chapter.

-
Access to Evidence-Based Information: I believe in empowering you with current, evidence-based information, facilitating an environment where you can discover and develop your own parenting style with confidence.

-
Assistance with Peripheral and Essential Activities: From light household chores to essential newborn care, feeding options, and safe sleep strategies, I am here to assist you in every aspect of postpartum adjustment and family bonding.

-
Resource Sharing and Referrals: I share my resources and suggest appropriate referrals to other complementary service providers if necessary, ensuring you have access to comprehensive support.

-
Presence and Availability: I am present when needed, attending to your family for set times where I can provide the most support, ensuring you feel supported and cared for every step of the way.
